City Sightseeing Aberdeen

Open top bus tours of Aberdeen recommenced in May 2006. Service 80 commenced operation with Aberdeen City Council subsidising City Sightseeing to operate this daily service throughout the summer. The driver is provided by First Aberdeen who also garage the vehicle at King Street Depot.

New to Hughes-DAf as a demonstrator, M647 RCP first operated for what is now First London before going to Blue Bus, Horwich.

Ensign bought the DAF from Blue Bus shipping it to New York for a sightseeing tour that failed to materialise.  It was then shipped back to the UK before going to Florence, Italy.

On return to the UK it operated tours in Cambridge then brighton before coming to Aberdeen for the 2008 season.  The offide door for New York is barred off as seen here.
