As the head office of GRT Bus Group then FirstGroup, the depot walls have hidden away some experimentation of liveries and logos many of which never made it on to the streets of Aberdeen.

The GRT Advance livery was modified to allow application to stadard vehicles.  First done was Olympian 123 (E123 DRS) which had just had front end stripes removed in 1996.

Optare Prisma 518 (M518 RSS) was used to trial the new First logos following the merger of GRT and Badgerline to create FirstBus in 1995.

The 1995 batch of Prismas saw some examples arrive with the standard Grampian fleetname of the time.  This was adapted with the removal of the ribbon and the thistle due to the then forthcoming merger of GRT with Badgerline.  521 (M521 RSS)is caught mid process.
